This Snake Juice is basically rat poison. Everybody’s wasted.

I will always reblog this

Peace can exist only in the present moment. It is ridiculous to say “wait until I finish this, then I will be free to live in peace.” What is “this”? A diploma, a job, a house, the payment of debt? If you think that way, peace will never come. There is always another “this” that will follow the present one. If you are not living in peace at this moment, you will never be able to. If you truly want to be at peace, you must be at peace right now. Otherwise, there is only “the hope of peace some day.

Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré, daughter of French wildlife photographers Alain Degré and Sylvie Robert, was born in Namibia. During her childhood she befriended many wild animals, including a 28-year old elephant called Abu and a leopard nicknamed J&B. She was embraced by the Bushmen and the Himba tribespeople of the Kalahari, who taught her how to survive on roots and berries, as well as how to speak their language.

How I wish I grew up.

I second this. Also, wasn’t going to reblog at first, but then I saw that frog and I about died. This is so perfect. I want to re-do my childhood.

She’s so cute, too.

I’m waiting for a Cady Heron joke.

Butler has uploaded a video of my commencement address to the class of 2013, which one can’t help but notice…is longer than the 12 minutes I so confidently promised. I sort of quit working the last month and did nothing but write this speech, and I couldn’t even get the time right. (I guess I read a lot faster alone in my basement.)

SORRY!

I’d like to thank everyone who’s shared the speech, especially the Los Angeles Times, Publishers Weekly, Galleycat, and Entertainment Weekly.

If you’d prefer to read the speech, you can do so here.

Just a few weeks ago, Hindus around the world celebrated the festival of colors, known as Holi. Participants of all ages throw brilliantly colored powders to welcome the coming of springtime.

The Atlantic rounded up a gorgeous set of photos of Holi festivals from across the country of India.
